HOW WE WORK
A 90-day engagement, not an open-ended retainer.
Most fractional CFO firms keep you on payroll forever. We build a financial operating system you own — then step back. Many clients continue in advisory. None are dependent on it.
THE ENGAGEMENT
What happens in 90 days.
Three phases, structured so the work compounds. By the end, you have a financial operating system you run — not a vendor you depend on.
- 01
Week 1
Foundation.
Diagnostic on cash, margin, and reporting. Chart-of-accounts cleanup if needed. The CFO is in weekly conversation with you from day one.
- 02
Day 30
Model.
A financial model and 13-week cash forecast you can run yourself. A valuation framework so you know what the business is worth at the same EBITDA.
- 03
Day 90
Capital.
Banking and credit lines structured before you need them. M&A or fundraise readiness if that's the path. You own the model after.
IN SCOPE
What we do.
- Restructuring bank facilities and lines of credit
- Financial modeling, forecasting, and unit economics
- Valuation framework — for buyers, partners, lenders
- M&A preparation and deal-room support
- Pricing and margin work — by project, customer, or service line
- Strategic CFO partnership during high-stakes decisions
NOT IN SCOPE
What we don't do.
- Bookkeeping or month-end close handled by your team or our internal accounting layer, separately
- Tax preparation coordinated with your CPA
- Interim CFO coverage we're advisory, not a seat-filler
- Investor sourcing or capital introduction we prepare you for the conversation; we don't make it
WHY THIS WORKS
A CFO with five clients is a different person than a CFO with twenty.
Most fractional CFOs serve fifteen to twenty companies because the math forces them to. The reporting, modeling, and analysis prep eats the week — and the strategic conversation, the part that actually changes a founder's trajectory, gets squeezed into thirty minutes a month.
We invert it. Each CFO works with no more than five clients. An ex–Big-Four analyst bench and an AI layer absorb the operational weight. What you pay for is strategy hours — not cleanup hours.
